I born and brought up in small village of Davnagere District in Kavalithand. She received her degree from Kuvempu University and Post Graduation at Sree Devi Institute of Social Work Mangalore University. In her post graduation she organized and participated in seminars on the changing trends on field training, seminars on Religious Harmony conducted by Dharma Samanvaya, Mangalore.
I participated in workshop like Disaster Management, Role of Care Givers in helping the mentally ill held at Justice K.S .Hedge Charitable Hospital, Mangalore and Life Skill Education (WHO).
Social work is strongly held value in my family; as a result, I am committed to work. I done summer placement at Manasa Nurshing Home Shimoga under Dr.Ashoka Pai, a Psychiatrist. I worked as a project director in Kalpataru Rural and Educational Developmental Society, Bangalore, prior to joining the fellowship Savitha had been working as HIV/AIDS counselor under KSAPS project, in Davanagere.
I am one of the founding member of “Samruddhi Educational and Rural Development Society” Davanager, Karnataka, a register NGO for work for children and women’s education, health issues.
